Book open Reading time: 2 mins

On Friday 7th September we welcomed over 2,300+ ambitious members and 60+ firms from a wide range of sectors to the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Centre. We’re extremely proud that this year’s FESTIVAL was the biggest and most innovative yet - did you miss it? Check out the highlights from the No.1 graduate careers event in the UK.

“The day as a whole was a great experience but the panel sessions most definitely made the day all the more unique and worthwhile. In addition, the breadth of other sectors as well as inspiring and driven students made the event a lot more thrilling and intellectually stimulating; a nice break while you were waiting for your turn to talk to representative from a firm!” - Corentin from University of Exeter.

Offering our members the chance to explore the widest range of career options possible and get all of their questions answered, it was inspiring to hear the brilliant conversations in the room. During workshops throughout the day, industry leaders gave their exclusive insights helping members discover what they can do with their degree and all the application tips they need to stand out. Here's what Kenza from the University of Warwick had to say about the panel she attended:

“Getting Ahead in Commercial Law was an excellent panel session as the speakers shared their honest views on their work. This was very refreshing as I think knowing what the sector is actually like is the best way to make informed decisions. They really inspired me to be myself and find the right firm that will suit me.”

Diversity and inclusion are central to our mission and we’re delighted that of our 2,300+ attendees at FESTIVAL, 62% identify as BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) and we are able to support students build the network they need to get ahead.
