Exactmer owns the Nanostar Sieving technology platform. This employs iterative liquid phase chemistry coupled to membrane purification to create polymers of outstanding purity. Exactmer currently supplies unimolecular polyethylene glycols (PEGs) up to 5 kDa, and is advancing the production of oligonucleotides and peptides.

Exactmer, incorporated in 2018, is a spin-out company from Imperial College London. Our mission is to redefine what is possible in exact polymer synthesis and set a new industry standard for the manufacturing of polymers bound for use in new medicines.

We supply technology licence and equipment to customers seeking to establish their in-house capability for liquid-phase polymer synthesis using Nanostar Sieving.

Engaging with partners is an essential component of our development strategy. We are currently working with pharmaceutical companies and government agencies to manufacture ad-hoc oligonucleotides for the development of new therapies.
