Arup welcomes undergraduates and Master’s students to visit our Nottingham office for our Graduate careers evening. You will have the opportunity to discuss your career with discipline leads, Directors and existing Graduates. A full office tour and refreshments will be offered.
For the 2024 intake Arup will have vacancies across the UK for engineers and technical specialists in the natural and built environment, planners, project managers, and sustainability and digital specialists.
We cover many of these disciplines in our Nottingham and nearby central Birmingham offices.
This careers event is suited to students completing degrees in relevant subjects, who are looking to work in Nottingham, Birmingham or who are interested in wider opportunities to work for us in one of our other many UK offices.
The opportunities are likely to include:
Buildings sector including mechanical, electrical, public health and structural engineers.
Energy and water sector including civils, water, process, controls, nuclear, and electrical engineers, and natural environment specialists.
Transport sector including all aspects of rail planning, civil engineering and highways engineering
Ground engineering, including geotechnical engineering, geology, geo-environmental, hydrogeology and contaminated land, for projects in a broad variety of sectors
Bridge and civil structures, bridges, and tunnelling
Cities, Planning and Design services including town planning, transport planning, economics, and landscape design
Advisory Services including project management, energy management and financial consulting, logistics, social value and stakeholder management
Technical Services including Acoustics, Fire, Lighting, Facades, and Resilience, Security & Risk consulting
Climate and Sustainability Services including carbon management, environment assessment. ecology and biodiversity
