We are looking for a Junior Electronics and Motion Control Engineer to provide technical support for the ongoing productions, engineering maintenance, design, and production for all the electronic and robotic equipment used for our stop frame productions.

The successful candidate will assist with technical support / faultfinding (Software + Hardware) for all motion control used on the productions, as well as working alongside engineering colleagues to help with the consistent maintenance of a large and varied store of electronics and mechanical kit.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in film/cameras, along with good mechanical fitting and wiring skills (competency in wiring, soldering and crimping all types of cables and connectors is essential). A degree qualification in electrical engineering or similar is desirable.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, communication and problem solving skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst displaying confidence when liaising and negotiation with contractors and suppliers.
