Please note that the successful candidate will be expected to work at both Hull and Immingham BCP as part of the role.

What you'll do

We are currently recruiting for a Landside Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following day-to-day duties:

  • Managing the day-to-day site operation: This includes vehicle bookings, customs clearance check-ins, and inspection completions. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground.
  • Managing Humber security passes
  • Planning vehicle arrivals for transit documents
  • Point of contact for the relevant agencies for site issues relating to Inspections or documentary BF checks
  • Ensure the operation operates in line with all relevant legislation.
  • Prepare daily, weekly labour plans to ensure the ongoing needs of the BCP and inspection agencies are met as efficiently as possible
  • Accountable in producing the weekly inventory audits to ensure accurate stock records are maintained
  • Liaises with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Maintains a high level of housekeeping across the BCPs.

Skills, experiences, qualifications and competencies

  • Strong IT skills evidenced in an operational environment
  • Excellent Destin8 knowledge
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Able to manage resources to deal with an ever-changing schedule and priorities
  • Work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong work ethic supported by the ability to make decisions and solve problems
  • Flexible in approach to hours and work location (HUMBER)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Shift pattern

This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with core working hours.
