Due to the continued growth and expansion of our Nuclear Power & Decommissioning Team in Warrington, we are looking to increase our technical workforce and are seeking to recruit Junior BIM Managers/Coordinators.

This is an exciting time for our Nuclear Power & Decommissioning team, with an interesting and expanding pipeline of both international and UK based projects.

Role Responsibilities

General

  • Assign roles and responsibilities to team members on a project.
  • Implement BIM/Information Management Procedures.
  • Coordinate information exchange to effectively communicate information exchange workflows to team.
  • Support information quality and enforce quality assurance procedures.
  • Create workflows and monitor/control progress.
  • Assist with ensuring the security of all digital project information.
  • Prepare and communicate project BIM execution plans and information management plans to deliver the service.
  • Support Design Team in establishing and implementing design procedures necessary for successful delivery.

Technical

  • Prepare BIM execution plan for Projects.
  • Support implementation / management of BIM during design, construction and handover (level of involvement varies on a project basis).
  • Manage CDEs (Common Data Environments) including ProjectWise and BIM 360.
  • Research and introduce more sophisticated technologies and/or methodologies to improve the efficiency of communication.
  • Contribute to technical project documentation deliverables, taking responsibility of accuracy and flow of content.
  • Assess capability and training needs and proactively implement training and support when required.
  • Contribute to verifying final project information models against the master information delivery plans
  • Provide training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.
  • Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.).

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification in Design or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Have an understanding of quality management systems and knowledge of digital handover process.
  • Working knowledge of BS/PAS1192/ ISO19650.
  • Experience using Revit or Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
  • Experience of ProjectWise or BIM 360.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in BIM
