Our UK Summer Internship Program will run from 15th June to 21st August 2026, and internships will be available in Aerospace, Credit Lines, Marine, Property, Casualty and Lex London.

AIG Underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, and Multinational Clients. About the AIG Early Career Programme

What you’ll do

  • Work alongside experienced underwriters to assess risks
  • Gain exposure to real underwriting decisions and client interactions
  • Learn about different lines of business and underwriting practices
  • Analyse data, financial information and market trends to support underwriting decisions
  • Collaborate with other interns and your wider team on projects
  • Build a strong internal network
  • Participate in training sessions, networking events and mentoring opportunities

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027.
  • Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector
  • Evidence of extra-curricular activities
  • A team player with strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, proactive, and accountable.
