About us

This role will be within the Communications team for Airbus Defence and Space. Based at offices in Stevenage, Portsmouth and also working remotely, the team, has a wide remit and work on media, social media, events and internal communications to promote the UK business.

What will you be doing?

During this placement, the activities you may undertake will include;

• Developing content for internal and external communications including social media
• Writing articles, creating posts, presentations and audiovisual material
• Organising events – for media, customer visits and employee communications
• Contributing ideas for UK communications campaigns and monitoring KPIs

• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work with remote teams
• An interest in defence, space and technology topics
