About us

The Broughton-based Industrial Academy develops and delivers world-class training for our customers in Operations. We take great pride in our ability to coach and upskill colleagues-whether they are experienced or new to the business-ultimately enabling them to build the world’s finest wings.

You'll be working with a passionate and highly motivated team that has a wealth of knowledge covering production processes, lean tools and systems, manufacturing engineering, and planning and logistics. We also work closely with teams based in France, Germany, Spain, and the United States, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues internationally.

What you will be doing

Teamwork and effective communication are key skills and we’ll help you develop these. You’ll be working on exciting projects as we prepare for the future; exploring innovative training methods and the skills we’ll need to build the aircraft of tomorrow!

  • Support the review and development of learning solutions;
  • Taking advantage of new ways of teaching (for example: digital means);
  • Taking part in meetings with colleagues, managers and internal customers;
  • Supporting the delivery of practical training in our workshops.

Requirements

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only . Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

*Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.*

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Studying towards a degree in Human Resourses, Business Administration, or equivalent;
  • Google Suite knowledge;
  • Enthusiasm and a strong interest in developing yourself, which contribute to the success of the Academy team and the Airbus family;
  • STEM subject qualifications are preferable together with the desire to work in a technical team environment.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
