An exciting opportunity has become available within the Industrial Integration department at Airbus Broughton. The Industrial Integration department is comprised of a close knit team dedicated to providing excellent support to the various programs in order drive continuous improvement for the business. As an Industrial Integrator you will be responsible for supporting the business by nurturing and facilitating the progression of new and innovative projects, driving improvements under the banners of Safety, Quality, Cost & Environmental.

About us

The Industrial Integration department is a team heavily involved in supporting the short and long term strategy of the business. Our team is always at the forefront of promoting innovation and continuous improvement through “Dragons Den” style forums and key project reviews. We also act as the conscience of the business by providing a monthly summary report of the business performance across a targeted balance score card. Our team is also responsible for the allocation of Capex funding which is utilized to fund new and exciting projects to drive our company into the future.

What you will be doing

As an Industrial Integrator you will develop essential skills in organisation and communication. You will build a network of key stakeholders in the business across a variety of operational areas and support functions.

Key specific tasks in the role will include:

  • Chairing “Dragons Den” style reviews, where you will hear new and innovative ideas directly from the originator
  • Allocating project sponsors to support and facilitate the growth and development of these ideas.
  • Chairing project (PIM) reviews for the operational areas, facilitating projects where funding has been secured to drive work content reduction and performance improvements.
  • Supporting Capex submissions process through application of funding to back new and innovative ideas.
  • Chair monthly performance reviews with CDT’s and key stakeholders to monitor businesses performance across a wide metric.
