About us

Do you want to make a real difference during a year in industry? To be involved in engineering, project and performance management, implementing strategic and operational change that brings significant value to the business?  Would you like to develop your leadership skills through facilitation and coaching of individuals and teams?

The Change and Performance team combines expertise in operational business performance management, lean methodologies and change management to find opportunities and support the delivery of continuous improvement through the wing engineering organisation.  We are responsible for ensuring wing engineering maintains its position as the benchmark within Airbus.

Utilising data analysis and close links to operational teams allows the team to actively identify programme pain-points. Our diverse skillset then allows us to mitigate risks and support teams in finding novel solutions to these complex challenges.

As a member of the ‘Change and Performance’ team within Wing Structures Design, the activities you may undertake will include;

  • work closely alongside engineering teams
  • launch and support targeted improvement activities
  • identify and share best practice
  • facilitate the effective use of lean methodologies
  • directly impact the Airbus wing engineering organization

You will spend time working closely with teams in order to fully understand the challenges they face - acting as a focal point for improvement opportunities and promoting new and established improvement methods. Activities you lead and support will directly contribute to the success of the organisation.

Knowledge and experience of project and performance management, continuous improvement techniques and the ability to facilitate and coach individuals and teams, is recognised by Airbus as a key skill for future leaders. You will have the opportunity to rapidly develop your knowledge in these areas through facilitating and participating in projects, workshops and training sessions. You will gain hands on experience in supporting the existing business strategy on topics such as empowerment of teams, anticipation of issues, and agility in our ways of working.
