Claims is a vast and vital part of our organisation. Our dedicated and friendly Claims team delivers on our promise by helping our customers when they need it most. We have an annual claims spend of over half a billion pounds, so joining this scheme you’ll be making an incredibly important impact from day one.
You’ll develop a wide range of technical, commercial and leadership skills that are vital to your development and the business through industry-leading, hands-on training, by managing varied and challenging caseloads, as well as interacting with key external partners.
About the scheme
The scheme involves four rotations; Each rotation will last around 6 months and your journey will begin with an understanding of Claims, analysing and investigating claims and you will be given responsibility to make liability decisions and work out the best way to settle claims in the most cost-effective manner. To do this, you will work alongside solicitors, claims investigators, loss adjusters, engineers and many other experts to ensure that claims are investigated efficiently and the correct decision is made as quickly as possible. For your following rotations you will report into the Head of Technical working on improving Technical knowledge alongside project work and gaining knowledge of the wider business both in the UK and in our other OE’s. During the two years you’ll be supported to study toward an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII).
Who should apply?
- You need to have achieved or be on target for achieving upper second class or above degree in any subject.
- A valid work permit for permanent work in the UK is also required.

Location: Varied - You need to be flexible, and may need to relocate. Potentially you could be placed in three different locations during the scheme; Milton Keynes, Birmingham, or Guildford.
