About the scheme
Over two years, you’ll complete four placements and work on a wide range of transformational business projects across several areas of IT. During this time you’ll be learning, developing your skills and helping to solve real business challenges through innovation - all with plenty of support from experienced managers and peers.
You’ll be able to see for yourself how your work adds value to the business, applying your newly-enhanced knowledge to positively impact and improve our future. By the end of the scheme you will have developed an understanding of project management, business analysis, information security, development and infrastructure management - and be fully prepared for a career in IT.
Allianz is committed to supporting students in their studies. You’ll undertake a great technical training programme aligned with your rotations and we’ll fully fund and support you through a professional qualification with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) where you’ll gain your Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII), giving you that all-important financial services knowledge.
You’ll have the opportunity to attend leadership and development programmes with your peers from across the business, as well as opportunities to meet and learn from colleagues across the Allianz Group. Your further steps with us will follow our IT Professional Development Framework which has been accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS).
About you
To join our IT graduate scheme, you’ll need a 2:1 or above. This can be from any university, but in Business Technology or a related discipline. To us, the most important thing is that you’re interested in what we do as a business and have the ambition to succeed. We’ll expect you to roll up your sleeves, get stuck in and be passionate about your work. Because we care about making a difference – and you should too. We’re hoping to find our future leaders, so if you show the drive and willingness to learn, we’ll support you all the way. And you can be sure you’ll be more than just a number here.
