This internship position commences in the Summer of 2022 and is a full year placement year until the Summer of 2023.

Amazon is looking for ambitious students to join us as an intern. You will work alongside and support managers working in one of our core UK businesses, including Retail, Amazon Vendor Services, Prime Video, Prime Now, and Amazon Fresh. Each intern will have exposure to senior-level management and the opportunity to apply general business and functional skills to solve real business problems. Interns will be either matched to a project or to a functional role.

Example job functions you might support include:

  • Vendor Managers: Help improve the selection and shopping experience for customers across our product categories, from books to fashion, electronics to grocery, movies and music to toys and health & beauty, and everything in between. Identify new brand and product business opportunities, manage relationships with key vendors, identify inputs to grow brands and improve their performance.
  • Product Managers: Invent new products and features on behalf of customers. Product Managers work cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, develop business models and marketing plans, define and analyze success metrics.
  • Strategic Supply Chain Managers: Develop and execute inventory management strategies (including forecasting, capacity planning, and supply chain optimization), determine how to allocate resources for variable cost reduction and profit margin improvement.
  • Marketing Managers: Develop and execute strategies for growing the size and lifetime value of the customer base, through both acquisition and CRM strategies for targeting and communicating with customers.
