The programme offers a wide range of experience as we operate across rail, energy, environmental and engineering sectors. AmcoGiffen is a fast growing business with lots of career opportunity for those willing to work hard and are committed to professional growth.

As well as extensive opportunities to learn and develop technical and leadership skills, graduates will be able to join relevant professional bodies and work towards formal industry accreditations.

Travel and lodging away will be required to various offices and operational site locations throughout all business regions.

The Role

The programme will be a catalyst for career progression, providing you with the platform to fulfil ambitious career aspirations.  As a graduate, you will gain exposure to various functions and business units, providing you with a breadth of experience and opportunity.

The programme will include:

  • Initial 3 month placement to gain an overview of the business
  • Further rotational placements to embed technical expertise
  • Supported career pathway development linked to relevant professional bodies
  • Structured personal and leadership development
  • Individual expert mentor support

Graduate Opportunities Post Scheme

Post scheme, we expect Graduates to progress to the following roles:

  • Project/Site Engineer
  • Assistant Quantity Surveyor
  • Design Engineer
  • Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor
  • Pre-contracts/Proposal Writer
  • HR Advisor

Requirements

  • Degree (minimum 2:2 BSc/BA) in a relevant subject area
  • You will be a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with colleagues across functions, cultures and at different levels of seniority.

As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a recruitment assessment centre which will involve interactive group activities, psychometric assessments and a competency based interview.
