Ampa, one of the UK's leading groups of legal and professional service businesses, are looking to add a fantastic Procurement Administrator to their growing Procurement function as we embark on an exciting 2025.

What you will be doing

  • Contract management - ensuring contracts are saved, monitored and support in supplier contract reviews
  • Ability to apply a pragmatic, commercial approach to contract work, often under tight deadlines
  • Supporting the business with mergers and acquisitions (contracts’ novation, assignment, etc.)
  • Assist in managing supply chain risk through due diligence analysis and risk register maintenance
  • Support sourcing activities and projects/project teams on larger sourcing activities
  • Provide input on supplier exit strategies and assist with resolving supplier issues
  • System/supplier management ensuring governance to procurement policies and procedures i.e. purchase orders, supplier on-boarding, contract management, document management general contract management hygiene e.g. version control, filing structure, summary and deviation tables
  • Risk mitigation practices surrounding key clauses in line with business risk appetite
  • Help maintain the supplier contract database and promote the team's processes within the group
  • Supporting our Culture & Sustainability team with supply chain engagements
  • Assist with procurement of the groups insurance portfolio by liaising with key stakeholders around the business
  • Support the business and its contract owners, to conduct supplier relationship management meetings
  • Opportunity analysis for supplier rationalisation, savings, leverage and terms betterment
  • Contribute to the development of templates, tools, and training for the group's buyers
  • Assist with supplier-related aspects of client tender submissions and client audit questionnaires
  • Work with the team on objectives aligned with the group's strategy adhering to internal SLA’s and KPI’s

What you will need

Essential:

  • Proficient in researching, drafting, and negotiating legal agreements
  • Knowledge of procurement/supply chain processes
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a procurement function
  • Ability to work collaboratively with varying stakeholders
  • Detailed and results-oriented
  • Ability to articulate contractual obligations in a clear and concise manner

Desirable:

  • MCIPS Qualified
  • Commercial contracts experience including general commercial (goods and services, RaaS, SaaS, MSA, SOW, NDA, GTC)
