We are looking for someone to join our growing commercial team, at a really exciting time of transformation. Working alongside a team of analysts to help drive forward our media analytics function. Ultimately, improving the process for the reporting, analysis and management of wider stakeholders to ensure we are getting the best return for our media activity, as well as evaluating the true value of all marketing activities through Attribution and Econometrics models.

This role is fundamental to increasing AO’s success in planning, valuing and reporting on our Media activity, from magazine inserts to TV adverts. The role will focus on how we automate reporting, improving our day to day processes and help make data driven decision making on future media plans. The role is suitable for someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced working environment and have the ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly, with lots of opportunity for growth and technical development.

What you'll do

  • Owning daily, weekly and monthly reporting on performance vs expectations.
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders on a wide range of topics, including efficiency of media spend and value of different creatives.
  • Analysing large and complex data sets to identify areas of improvement and then driving these project ideas through to completion.
  • Supporting other business units with marketing related analysis and insight.
  • Developing new and existing Excel models, and introducing additional reporting and visualisation software to the business.
  • Using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics to dig into data to find new opportunities and areas in which we could gain a higher return on our Media activity.
  • Actively engage with and act as a business partner to many areas of the business

What you'll need

  • Minimum of a 2.1 degree within a relevant field, gained within the last 3 years.
  • Highly numerate and logical with great attention to detail.
  • Results driven and ambitious.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working with Excel to manipulate and interpret data.
  • MS office, Power BI & SQL skills would be advantageous but not essential.
