The Role

Arla's Finance Graduate Scheme will initially be centred in the UK with opportunities to gain international experience to develop talented individuals for leading roles within our European Finance Team. The scheme is designed to deliver all the exposure, experience and support you need in order to achieve a successful career in Finance.  You will rotate between finance departments to get a full overview of the function and whilst the role is anchored at our head office in Leeds, you may be expected to work at one of our other UK or European locations.

Arla will fully support your development throughout your 3 years on the scheme, with a programme designed to prepare you for future management roles.  Central to this is, you will received funding for your professional CIMA  qualifications, including providing paid leave for study during working hours and exams.  You will form part of a network of graduates whereby we will further your development in key leadership skills and insights into your learning and work styles, providing you with a suite of skills to succeed in your finance career with us.

Our Finance department has roles in Commercial, Supply Chain, Milk & Member Services and Corporate Finance and you will gain experience in various roles. Responsibilities will grow during your time on the scheme, with the expectation that you will not only successfully complete the roles presented, but will push yourself and your colleagues to identify areas for further improvement.  This will include managing and taking ownership for a selection of annual projects.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be educated to Bachelor’s degree level having achieved, or on course to achieve, at least a 2:1 in any discipline. You will have a strong overall academic record and will have 300 UCAS points or more. You will be able to communicate clearly and manage relationships in a cooperative manner, while still being able to constructively challenge colleagues and senior management. You will require a self-driven learning mindset, furthermore, you will be ambitious and motivated with a strong desire for a career in finance in a dynamic sector. Ahead of being offered a place on the scheme you will be required to provide documentation confirming your degree result.

Please note that the scheme is due to start  in September 2021 and applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full 3 year programme.
