Arm Information Developers and Technical Writers create different types of technical content, including web content, specifications, tutorials, and multimedia. This content helps our customers and ecosystems to design and develop with Arm products and solutions.

Arm has a range of vacancies for enthusiastic undergraduates with ambitions in writing and technology. You will be part of a larger community of writers, who can guide, train, and give suggestions. We nurture our people, we provide one-to-ones, and a collaborative and friendly working environment. Our leaders are open to sharing their career experiences and also giving feedback for your development.

To be considered for this role, you should be an undergraduate in a related subject. Subjects relevant to Technical Writing include, but are not limited to:

  • Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or any of the sciences.
  • English, Philosophy, Linguistics, Law.

Some familiarity with any of the following would be useful, but not essential:

  • Computer architecture and microprocessors, you might be experimenting with a Raspberry Pi or similar.
  • Software tools, gaming, graphics.

In parallel with your studies, for approx. 8 hours per month, you will be required to perform some project work, ambassador activities and participate in learning and development relevant to a career at Arm. This will be followed by longer period of full-time employment during the summer holidays where you will be aligned to a business group
