The role

We’re recruiting for an ambitious new Graduate Controls Accountant to work in our new Group Controls department. In this role, you will be part of the development of our Group policy and procedures, ensuring we have robust systems and processes in place, now and in the future.

Hours

Full time: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm

Location

The role will be based at our vibrant Hillington Head Office but some travel will be required to sites.

Day-to-day duties

• Develop an understanding of how the different areas of the Group operate.
• Build knowledge of the risks facing the Group and the controls used to mitigate the risks.
• Be part of the team developing and improving controls, policies and procedures.
• Take part in a secondment to a different business unit within the Group to develop additional knowledge and skills.
• Carry out ad-hoc assignments as required.

Essential skills and experience

• A degree in a finance-related subject and working towards ACCA qualification.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• The ability work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Process-driven and self-motivated.
• Strong Excel skills required.
