Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will analyse requirements and designs, codes and tests. You will also install and maintain application systems, programmes, functions, services and other related software components in response to enterprise needs of low to medium complexity.
Other responsibilities include
- Design/develop system, application, and programme code according to business and technical requirements with their accounts
- Participate in quality assurance and testing to achieve quality goals
- Implement solutions
- Provide system support
- Maintain knowledge of the business operations and strategic goals of Assurant
You will have the following skills
- Educated to a degree level in a technical discipline (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computing.) or proven commercial experience within a similar role.
- Experience with SQL database, including SQL queries, stored procedures and functions, table design including indexing and basic optimization either in MS SQL or Oracle.
- 1+ years experience in .Net Core, VB.Net or C#
- 1+ Years experience in API service and testing
- Experience in software source control including basic branching methodologies
- knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies, including Agile software development practices, and supporting tools, unit testing, and automated testing
