For 50 years, we've been driven by the firm belief that engineers are the architects of tomorrow's world, leading the way with their daring, their expertise and their ability to push boundaries.

About us

Together with our customers, our 7,000 employees innovate on a daily basis and contribute to accelerating energy transition throughout the world. They support the world's greatest engineering projects in the fields of energy, digital and transport.
A fast-growing international Group, we are present in 13 countries (in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa).

Make your contribution towards the UK achieving our net zero ambitions – Hinkley Point C (HPC) will be supplying 3,200 MWe of carbon free electricity within the next decade.

Assystem are a key multi-framework engineering partner helping to design, construct, and commission the UK's first large-scale nuclear power station in 30 years.

About the role

You will be joining our expanding team of over 7000 delivering innovative engineering across a spectrum of digital, energy transition and Nuclear technologies such as fusion and modularisation alongside key global large-scale critical Infrastructure projects.

Assystem is launching a search for innovative, enthusiastic and inquisitive individuals to help us deliver safe and sustainable energy around the world. The energy transition relies on our ability to meet the world’s increasing demand for energy while also drastically reducing CO2 emissions, but how? Assystem believes nuclear energy is the only energy solution that can replace fossil fuels with low-carbon energy production while satisfying base-load electrical demand.

As the world’s second largest nuclear engineering company, we’re supporting energy programmes in 15 countries across the world, including in the UK, where our teams are helping to build Hinkley Point C, the country’s first nuclear power station since 1995. We’re also a consortium member in the Rolls-Royce led Small Modular Reactor programme, an exciting industrial collaboration to design and build new technology that could bring low carbon energy to the grid by 2030.

In addition, Assystem is a leading company paving the way for the energy source of the future: nuclear fusion. As Architect Engineer of ITER and a leading partner in the project’s Momentum and Engage consortia, we have developed a strong track record as a fusion engineering company which has led to new collaborations supporting the experimental fusion projects in China and the UK.

Like what you hear?  This year, Assystem is inviting you to join them as part of their graduate scheme.

What can candidates expect?

Successful applicants will be interviewed with members of our commissioning team. Next, you’ll begin a three-year programme to introduce you to the full scope of our work, from innovative decommissioning solutions to the latest nuclear new-build projects around the world.
