The intern will be responsible for the execution and research of information as well as the support of Traders in their everyday actvities.The main responsibilities of the role :
- Work on trade reporting database structure
- Work with traders of different desks to analyse needs and understand how to structure the data for each desk, define and build trading activity metrics
- Optimise construction of SQL queries to feed clean usable tables for trading activity monitoring and reports
- Improve useability and readability of the trading data tables used for reporting
- Document issues in data and steps used in the process for a clear audit of the work done
- Use Tableau Software for reporting and design activity monitoring reports to follow metrics using the data built in the process described above
Qualifications
Profile:
- Education qualifications: 2nd year undergraduate student in Economics / Maths / Statistics
- Technical skills : Python, SQL and MS office
- Key Competencies: ability to work autonomously, detail-oriented, ability to meet tight deadlines
- Languages required: English
- Any skills or experience which are desirable but not necessary : computer science
