On a Summer Internship, over 12 weeks, an individual would be expected to be involved in a number of areas in order to develop a broad understanding of a manufacturing engineer role. 

Transform designs into products and help our manufacturing and construction teams deliver cutting edge technology in the most effective way. You’ll be able to get involved at all levels of the business, from solving manufacturing problems on the shop floor, through to working on facility strategies or managing your own improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Produce appropriate department documentation.
  • Responsible for liaising with planning and other technical departments.
  • Responsible for developing innovative process solutions.
  • Develop and mentor new employees and team members.
  • Responsible for identifying own development opportunities.
  • Understand, develop and implement greater customer and external relations#

Requirements

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
