As a graduate you will be expected to be involved in a number of areas in order to develop a broad understanding of the Test and Commissioning function.

You will be train to qualify as an Engineer with responsibilities for Test & Commissioning of nuclear powered submarines. You will work as part of a committed team to meet departmental goals & objectives whilst developing technical skills and a wider understanding of the complexities and delivery of nuclear powered submarines.

Follow your passion with the following responsibilities 

  • To represent the company on Contractors Sea Trials & other outworking requirements
  • Responsible for research & compilation, review and feedback of appropriate documentation to the required standard. 
  • Keep full & accurate records of work activities carried out as required by policy, procedure and legislation.
  • Liaise / Interface with relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are undertaken in a safe/compliant manner this will include Ships Staff and Operations Management.
  • Use initiative and system knowledge to provide solutions to issues in the limits of the test documentation and governing processes.
  • Using judgement to evaluate options using on the job experience & escalation procedures for emergent issues.
