This is an excellent opportunity for Graduates or Postgraduates to start a career within analytical consultancy. You will join our growing team working with clients across government and industry to support key business and policy decisions.
Sitting in our internal data analytics team within Shared Services, we combine technical capabilities in modelling and analysis with client-facing consultancy skills, to ensure we deliver high-impact advice based on robust evidence. We work across a range of sectors, including defence, transport, and security and policing.
We are in a period of growth, so require exceptional candidates to join our team of dynamic consultants. You will work across a range of domains using a variety of Operational Research techniques (e.g. simulation modelling, spreadsheet modelling, and cost/benefit analysis) or related consultancy skills (e.g. workshop facilitation, problem structuring, processing).
As a consultancy, we expect the role to include ad hoc business travel. There may also be opportunities for you to work overseas or onsite with clients for longer periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Working within project teams to deliver modelling/analysis/consultancy projects and supporting the transfer into the clients’ organisations
- Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions
- Communicating and presenting findings to clients
- Supporting business winning activities
What we require
As a minimum requirement you`ll need to be on course for achieving a 2:2 in your Bachelor’s degree.
