Gain knowledge and experience of the analytical methods that ensure our products are safe and effective for human use. You’ll work on anthropometry and sensory capabilities and learn about the effects of stress, workplace design, information and control requirement definition within human machine interfaces and environmental ergonomics.
As a Human Factors engineer, you will work collaboratively to ensure our products are safe, operable, accessible, habitable and effective for the human user.
Follow your passion with the following responsibilities
Human Factors (HF) engineers support the Human Engineering process by applying specific knowledge and analytical methods covering the full breadth width of the HF skill set. This will in turn optimise the interaction between the system/service and its operator to enabling them to fulfil their mission, perform its mission and achieve its goals while being supported in its operational environment. This includes consideration of human characteristics (anthropometry, sensory capabilities, etc.) and the effects of stress, workplace and work station design, display of information and control room and interface design requirement.
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
