Are you bright, enthusiastic and curious? Do you enjoy solving challenging problems? Are you looking to chart your own course through an extraordinary career?

Everything we do at Bain & Company is guided by True North. True North is an unchanging and true point on a gyro-compass. It is constant, singular and unaffected by factors like magnetic forces or location. For us, True North is our unswerving commitment to always do the right thing by our clients, our people, and our communities.

Additionally, Bain’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is key to building extraordinary teams. We hire people with exceptional talents, abilities and potential, then create an environment where you can become the best version of yourself.

What

Bain London is running a scholarship programme this summer specifically for students in the UK and Ireland who identify as Black. The aim is to inspire and equip you with practical leadership and personal impact skills. A group of top candidates will be invited to participate in a two-day virtual workshop and early Associate Consultant interviews, after which the scholarship will be awarded. This workshop is part of a series of True North events Bain London is running, with the aim to discover more about the management consultant industry as well as highlight careers at Bain for student groups historically underrepresented in consulting.

The True North Workshop will provide a unique insight into our industry and what a career in consulting could offer you. We will create opportunities for you to learn and practice a number of key skills, including some of the tools our teams use to crack critical business problems, as well as tips and tricks for interviews. Taking part in our True North Workshop is an excellent opportunity to meet a group of like-minded individuals from across the UK & Ireland.

Who

We are keen to meet Black Heritage students in their penultimate year from any degree or discipline of any nationality studying at any UK or Irish university. You'll need to be a strong academic achiever, with great communication skills and the drive, passion and energy to solve problems and really make a difference.

Why

All workshop participants will be invited to early Associate Consultant interviews and will be supported by a buddy programme before, during and after the workshop. The scholarship winner will receive £10,000 and a Bain mentor!
