Baker Hughes OFE’s FPS (Flexible Pipe Systems) sub-business to meet global demand and the most stringent customer needs, has developed a comprehensive portfolio of solutions, systems, and products. This enables us to deliver optimal subsea solutions reliably and consistently that will meet or exceed customer requirements.

The PMO (Project Management Office) of FPS focuses on four main areas namely, Risk Management, Planning, Portfolio/ Governance and Productivity. The productivity team leads managing and tracking Cost out initiatives, cost-ins/ leakages and cost out related financial reporting. One aspect of the Cost out is Product cost out that is cost out around initiatives and NPIs that can be implemented in projects. To ensure these costs outs are enabled to provide the maximum productivity and minimum loss tools like FCT and process of approval and tracking (PCC) are in place. This role will focus on delivery productivity around these tools and processes, supporting the overall vision of Cost out for the FPS organization

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own the Flexible Costing Tool (FCT) including updates, fixes and communications. Ensure the FCT reflected the current costing for the business and provide company wide support on its usage. Communicate and present these FCT updates to the leadership team on a quarterly basis.
  • Key focal for implementation of costing tools into Flexstream specifically FCT but could also include sourcing costing tools and engineering costing tools. 
  • Support FPS Offshore product cost out activities for region and provide support to Productivity Project Managers where required.
  • Carry out ad hoc improvement projects across functions to reduce product cost or reduce likelihood of execution overspends (leakages).
  • Own the product cost out initiatives database and maintain data and functionality for wider business including one stop dashboards and quarterly reports.

  • Be currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree from an accredited university in Business, Economics or similar
  • Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
  • Be fluent in oral and written English
  • Have the legal right to work without restrictions in the country you have applied
