Partner with the best
The sourcing intern will enter into a world class procurement training programme. Over an 8-month period the sourcing intern will be trained in areas such as negotiating, order placement, financial analysis and reporting. They will work with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers to support a variety of Baker Hughes projects.
As a Procurement Intern, you will be responsible for
- Conducting technical negotiations for assigned package scope of work in collaboration with engineering.
- Supporting commercial validation of suppliers’ offers / quotes/Issue and track PO's, ensuring OTD to manufacturing need and promise dates.
- Defining and maintaining price/cost metrics and savings measurement.
- Providing an interface between Baker Hughes, suppliers and customers on all contractual matters.

To be successful in this role you will
- Have an academic background, or experience in, law business or finance
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and be fluent in English.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have the ability to work independently and remotely where needed
- Be a self-starter who can take the initiative and immerse themselves in challenging projects
