Balfour Beatty is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Engineer's Assistant to join our team at the prestigious Hinkley Point C project in Bridgwater.

As an Engineers Assistant, you will support our engineering team in various tasks, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the construction industry.
What you'll be doing
Some key responsibilities will be:
- Assisting in the preparation and review of technical drawings and specifications
- Setting out from primary control provided by Site Engineers
- Production of as built drawings and records
- Updates to RAMS and updating of signage on site
- Carry out safety inspections
- Works to Weekly Programme, ensuring knowledge of upcoming targets
- Maintaining accurate records Daily Diary and understands the purpose
- Assists with take offs or reconciliations
What are we looking for?
- Enrolled in HNC, HND or degree level course, Working towards Eng Tech with the ICE
- Ability to read and understand reinforcement drawings
- Good understanding of concrete repairs, repair materials, engineering principles and forces
- A willingness to learn, showing openness to acquiring new skills and knowledge, and demonstrating a proactive attitude toward personal and professional development.
