Join the Chief Security Office (CSO) over the summer in Radbroke Hall (Cheshire), a stunning 64-acre site, which is home to our buzzing tech hub of future innovation. Barclays Technology is the power behind our global operations and it is here in the Chief Security office that we conceive of, design and develop technological solutions that protect millions of customers against these threats. You will play a pivotal part in changing and enhancing our technology and will be supported by a line manager who will give you clear and concise objectives to work on. Outside of your day to day role, you will be given structured support with a buddy and a mentor, and also experience insight sessions to help you understand our technology business.
What to expect
Over one summer, you’ll gain extraordinary exposure into our Chief Security office working on future innovation. With security and threats being a constant concern of any organisation, you will gain a unique insight into how we protect our millions of customers against these threats. As well as learning from our team’s expertise, you’ll start to build your own knowledge, taking on real projects and responsibilities early on.

No two days will ever be the same! Your internship programme will be varied throughout to ensure that you not only learn the skills you need to thrive in your specific role, but have the opportunity to network and gain an insight into a career in technology. This is facilitated through work shadowing, workshops, interactive skills sessions, project work and networking opportunities. The best part about it? You could be offered a graduate role at the end of your internship.
