Risk Analyst Graduate Programme 2021
Risks come in all shapes and sizes and are ever-evolving. All of which makes Risk an exciting place to build a career. What’s more, thanks to the increasing complexities and breadth of activity within Risk, you’ll gain a variety of experience within the Risk function and expand your industry knowledge. You’ll join one of our exciting areas within Risk, such as Market Risk, Credit Risk or Operational Risk among others. This gives you a chance to develop a good understanding of a specific area and its importance to our Risk function. Please note applications are now closed for opportunities in London and Glasgow.
What to expect
Our industry-leading programme is rotational, and the diverse teams you’ll have the option to work in will include: Credit Risk (including leveraged finance, large corporate and SME sanctioning, business support and recoveries), Market Risk, Treasury & Capital Risk, Model Risk, and Operational Risk.
What’s more, Risk is a bank-wide function that helps us make big decisions in the right way. You’ll have many opportunities to expand your network with professionals across the bank.
At Barclays, risks are identified and managed in the business through the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF). The ERMF specifies the 7 Principal Risks of the Group and the approach to managing them. These are listed below here:
