This is a fixed-term (2 year), full time position based at our facility in Crumlin.

Role overview

Reporting directly to the Global Head of QA/RA, you will be responsible for assisting all business units with all aspects of Quality Assurance. This will include undertaking rotations in Quality Engineering, Validation, Quality Control or Regulatory Affairs and you will spend the final six month rotation leading a significant improvement program across QARA.

**Experience in a relevant industry or scientific qualifications are desirable but are not essential for you to succeed in this role.

Role requirements

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Directly responsible for providing support to the Global QA/RA function
  • Undertakes four (4-6 month) rotations across the QA/RA function (Specifically, Quality Engineering/Systems, Validation, Quality Control and/or Regulatory Affairs)
  • Responsible for aiding the Quality Systems teams in rolling out and improving the Global Quality System
  • Interacts with manufacturing teams to optimise standards related to quality control, inspection and testing.
  • Ensure process and Quality documents and records adhere to specific requirements.
  • Support in the management of customer complaints related to quality issues.
  • Helps to solve problems systematically, including identification of the root cause and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Raises supplier notifications for non-conformances and works with the Supplier Quality team to ensure appropriate Corrective Actions are in place
  • Enhances our electronic Quality Management and document Management systems by carrying out specific improvement projects
  • Implement trend analysis to monitor product performance and aid proactive decision making with regard to Product Quality

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a Science/Engineering/Business degree (or equivalent). A knowledge and understanding of ISO standards and auditing experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We are seeking an individual who has excellent Excel skills, who is a good problem solver and able to work with focus and precision.
