Job Summary          

To be part of the newly formed Beazley Digital function dedicated to digitising products and processes. Reviewing and evolving current ways of working and helping to drive change ensuring best practice processes are adopted in line with the division’s requirements. Designing and implementing robust solutions to deliver productivity and efficiency gains across the company using low code and no code (RPA) tools ensuring resources are most efficiently deployed to deliver business outcomes and enabling scale, whilst maximising delivery quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analyst

  • Analyse business processes and devise innovative process solutions.
  • Define and document accurate business requirements and acceptance criteria that can be understood by stakeholders.
  • Analyse and map end to end business processes (current state/future state).
  • Produce high quality documentation.
  • Conduct & verify post implementation reviews, investigate issues arising out of change implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvements to the quality and efficiency of Digital processes.
  • Ensure team SLAs are adhered to when providing support

Automation Engineering

  • Build and maintain business and technology robotic process automation (RPA) solutions within a team from analysis to implementation of low code apps and RPA robots.
  • Write code in C#, VB.net and configure low code/no code tools like UIPath, Power Platform, ABBYY etc

  • Carry out additional responsibilities as individually notified, either through your objectives or through the learning management system.  These may include membership of any Beazley committees or working groups.

Education and Qualifications

  •  Project Manager and/or Business Analyst certifications preferable but not essential

Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience in providing process and solution design expertise in support of business change projects, with proven strong track record of building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor them appropriately for different audiences, technical backgrounds, and seniority
  • Experience of supporting agile delivery
  • Ideally experience working in a financial services organisation, preferably insurance.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with or the ability to learn how to use tools such as.
    • UIPath, ABBYY, Power Platform tooling or other RPA tools is desirable
    • GitHub
    • CI CD pipeline tooling
    • C#, VB.net in development and test automation.
  • Strong business understanding and ability to work in partnership with the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate IT and non-IT deliveries with demonstrated delivery of business value and pursuit of quality.
  • Able to understand and advise on how to implement process, IT and people changes while minimising the IT and related business change delivery risks.
  • Understanding of business strategy and the work of the teams within the organisation.
  • Able to identify and help the business to assess options & solutions that best fit requirements.
