Bespak is recruiting a Quality Analyst to join their Quality Operations team at its Holmes Chapel site (CW4 8BE). These are permanent, onsite roles offering a salary range of £25K- £27K along with a discretionary annual bonus. The benefits package includes 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, free onsite parking, and comprehensive medical, dental, health, and life assurance cover.

Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday: 7.75 hours per day; Friday: 6.5 hours per day (expected finish time 3:45 pm). Total: 37.5 hours per week.

The role

As a Aerosol Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting testing and reporting laboratory activities to support the compliant and timely delivery of finished commercial products to customers, in line with GMP standards.

Your role will involve performing routine bench testing on a range of innovative product developments at Bespak. These include asthma and COPD inhalers (MDIs) using new green propellants, as well as nasal spray products designed to treat a variety of conditions, including migraines and anxiety.

You will be part of a team dedicated to ensuring these products achieve commercial readiness.

At Bespak Holmes Chapel, we are investing significantly to expand our capacity to develop and manufacture pMDIs (Asthma Inhalers) with greener propellants to meet evolving sustainability standards in the industry. As a Quality Analyst your duties will include

  • Conduct testing of samples in a laboratory setting.
  • Analyse data using standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with investigations relating to any quality issues.

Quality Analyst beneficial key skills and experience

  • Experience/knowledge of analytical chemistry & lab instrumentation.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Strong written and oral English communication skills.
  • A science HND / NVQ or degree is preferable.
  • An understanding of compliance management in a controlled environment.
