Support Head of Marketing and Business Development and Marketing Team to plan and execute marketing activities for the range of products and services offered by Alphabet in the UK: funding solutions, fleet management and advanced mobility solutions

What will you be doing?

  • Support the development and implementation of Alphabet’s marketing activities across a variety of media including: marketing campaigns, product communication, CRM, online and offline, corporate events and incentives, customer communications, channel communications, PR, research, reporting and analysis
  • Provide administrative support for the marketing and PR budget through efficient generation of purchase orders, goods receipting of supplier invoices and budget tracking activities.
  • Provide support to marketing team members where required for the delivery of marketing/PR activities and projects, eg website changes, campaigns, events, social media, PR and development/change initiatives.
  • Carry out business/performance analysis tasks as required to support projects and to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, eg coverage, lead generation, telemarketing, brand positioning, online traffic and customer feedback.
  • Support the maintenance of marketing and product materials – on- and offline – ensuring compliancy with brand, legal and corporate identity standards and are available to use (in stock/accessible).
  • Support the updating/rollout of any changes to brand/corporate identity frameworks across on- and offline platforms and materials.
  • Support the face-to-face interaction between Alphabet and customers, prospects, industry opinion formers and sales partners by assisting marketing team members to deliver physical/virtual events.
  • Use learning support available to become competent user of purchasing tool, website content management system, email campaign tool, social media tool and others as required.
  • Ensure working knowledge of the regulations and business obligations affecting the role which are core to achieving fair outcomes for customers.
  • Introduce a wider perspective to influence Alphabet’s use of innovative, effective and appropriate communication channels.
  • Propose process improvements and efficiency opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas to Marketing and Business Development ways of working.
  • Contribute ideas to Alphabet and related companies culture and responsibility development through Summit ONE campus networks.
  • Work with the Marketing team members including liaison with business area contacts and business support functions to support the delivery of Marketing initiatives.
  • Work with Creative, PR, Film, Event or Print Production agencies as directed by Marketing team members to support the delivery of department marketing activities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Studying towards a 2:2 Bachelor degree - preferably in Communications, Marketing or Digital.
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, communications or digital area
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
