What you'll be doing

We are looking for talented and ambitious individuals who have the desire to help us achieve our goals and can demonstrate the attributes that are fundamental to becoming a successful surveyor. The organisation will support you through a two-year programme to become a Chartered Town Planner with the RTPI.

Training and development 

  • Full L-APC training via with the department and support for all graduates; 
  • Critical analysis workshops and support revision lectures and seminars;
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) lectures

Main Accountabilities

  • Direct access on day-to-day projects with foresight to existing and new clients.
  • Direct engagement with client contact, and also learning on day to day real life projects
  • Ability to work on projects across the UK and will be supported by the Senior Management team.

Graduates will have the opportunity to

  • Engage with Urban Plan initiatives
  • Work alongside development and valuation colleagues across the business
  • Engage in team training
  • Lead on social diary and planning for the local team
  • Have a good social and work life balance.

What you'll need

  • Competent using all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) 
  • Interpersonal skills – confident communicators with the ability to express opinions clearly and convincingly 
  • Achievement/determination – strong track record of academic and personal achievement 
  • Motivated and committed to a career within Surveying 
  • Analytical capability – good problem-solving skills and logical approach
  • Degree Qualified - 2:1 or above achieved or predicted.

Desirable Qualifications 

  • RTPI accredited degree - 2:1 or above, achieved or predicted 
  • Non-cognate route is available.

Desirable Experience 

  • Relevant property work experience
