About the role

The Automotive Aftermarket department for Robert Bosch Ltd, have a unique opportunity at our Denham office for a Business Studies student with a keen interest in sales and logistics, to partake in a six – twelve month internship. In this internship, the student will assist multiple Account Managers with daily tasks such as supporting with sales processes via quotations and various other contracting procedures. In addition, the student will respond to customer queries and assist in both the releasing and phasing out of parts. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a successful team, develop your personal and professional skills and gain valuable experience

Responsibilities will include

  • Preparing quotations towards the customer along with processing, and thereafter archiving, other required documents.
  • Running checks on stock levels, open orders and order history of certain parts.
  • Managing extensive product portfolios, whilst consistently maintaining audit relevant information
  • Daily contact with Bosch production plants and other Bosch colleagues globally for various queries and sourcing of information.
  • Liaising with numerous customers and provide reports/ support where necessary.
  • Reacting to customer demand by supporting and instigating the phase-in of new products, including monitoring and chasing up these releases.
  • Compiling sales reports to aid decision making regarding the phase-out of older products.
  • Supporting the managers and participate in projects.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • You should be studying for a degree ina relevant discipline e.g. Business Studies
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills, Power Bi - desirable
  • Eager to learn new tasks
  • Ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Customer service enthusiast
  • Knowledge of SAP and previous sales experience - (desirable but not essential)

Additional information

Please note that we would like you to start in March 2022 for a 12-month Internship. This position is open to undergraduates who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their degree course.
