We have a further site in Clay Cross Derbyshire where our oil boilers are manufactured.
The Role
The Engineering Services Department at Worcester works with and supports both Pre and Post-Sale customers and end-users from a technical perspective and strives to deliver industry-leading customer service and a right-first-time approach to quality.
Engineering Services Intern
Engineering services is a multi-faceted department covering customer-facing technical support services, professional heating designs, product technical liaison, and a process support team.
The Engineering Services Intern will support each area of the Engineering services department in a variety of tasks, ensuring diversity of work and experience. The placement will focus on supporting administration tasks within the department, including, but not limited to: Project co-ordination of system design requests, departmental improvement project administration and support, administration support of Technical liaison project topics, directly supporting customers within the technical support department and providing an excellent level of customer service liaising directly with heating industry professionals, housing developers, and end-users
Technical Services Intern
The Technical Services arm of the engineering services department supports department improvements and processes by creating bespoke reporting, department administration, and data collection tools; as well as maintaining the product knowledge system used to ensure good customer service.
The Technical Services Intern will support the technical services manager and associates directly in the implementation of new tools and/or improvements to existing process solutions. This will include: Programming (VB.Net, VBA) bespoke applications, developing complex reporting tools (MS Excel), administration support and write-up for all phases of small IT project delivery. The role may also provide exposure for supporting larger scale software implementation support, and experience front-line troubleshooting IT issues for associates.
