We have a fantastic opportunity available at Bouygues Energies & Services (BYES) for a Graduate Project Buyer & Bid Manager to join our Procurement team in our Bristol office.
It’s a very exciting time to be joining Bouygues! As a result of our success working on the Hinkley Point C nuclear power project, we are now working on the Sizewell C Emergency Diesel Generators project bid.
This two-year graduate placement will offer you the unique opportunity to work on the Sizewell C project, giving you invaluable experience in shaping procurement processes from the very early stages of the project.
Key responsibilities
To support the Sizewell C project bid preparation, including RFP preparation, proposal assessments, supplier engagement, and subcontract negotiations. Management of the supply chain engagement tracker and engaging stakeholders to ensure on time delivery of the supply chain proposals. Consolidating supply chain feedback to enhance client negotiations and project outcomes. Assist with managing the full tendering process, including creating RFI/ITT documentation, managing tender queries, and evaluating supplier proposals from commercial, legal, and technical perspectives.
Graduate programme
You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme which is a two-year structured training scheme. The programme is designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom-based learning and on the job training.
About you
- A 2:1 (or above) in any degree discipline
- Some procurement and commercial knowledge, with an eagerness to learn more!
