BSP Consulting has an immediate vacancy for a graduate transport planner Nottingham to work within our experienced Transportation engineering design team.

Responsibilities

The Graduate Transport Planner Nottingham position would primarily involve the preparation of transport assessments and travel plans to accompany planning applications for private sector clients.

We also provide highway advice on planning issues, and prepare horizontal designs for site access junctions and highway improvements for highway authority approval.

Experience

Experience of using AutoCAD, TRICS and other relevant software (e.g. Linsig, Picady, Arcady etc) would also be an advantage, although not essential.

Education

Applicants should ideally have a degree or other qualification in a relevant subject and/or experience in highways/civil engineering/transport planning/development control.

Hours of work: A minimum of 37.5 hours per week, core hours are 9am until 4pm, Monday to Friday where staff are required to be at work.

Holidays: Allowance is in line with industry standard and is subject to relevant experience.

Salary: A competitive salary will be offered and is subject to relevant experience.
