Network Technologies Graduate Programme 2021
5G is the latest big thing when it comes to mobile networks, yes? No.
Here at BT, we’re already looking for the next step forward. Whether that’s in mobile, fixed line or security, our network communications and operations teams are always looking to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
As a graduate, you’ll be getting involved in projects from day one. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, testing and operating fixed and mobile network solutions across the globe. You’ll work on a range of new technologies which help underpin our network, helping to support and maintain vital UK services.
But it’s not just our network you’ll be working on. You’ll also get work with our customers, from small businesses to big government departments, helping them to design their own networks. You’ll be seen as a specialist consultant; a real expert in the field. You won’t be on this journey on your own, your manager and team will be there to support you every step of the way as you build your experience.
Operating at this level takes an eclectic mix of talent. So we are open-minded regarding your background, as we need such a diverse range of skills to continue building our teams. It will help if you’ve got a good working knowledge of IP networks, protocols and network components, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple way – but it’s in no way a requirement in order to be a successful Networks graduate.
Our Network Technologies programme is available in the Global part of our business.
Entry requirements
A 2.1 in a relevant STEM subject. We’ll also accept a 2.2 with a relevant postgraduate qualification. Due to the nature of the work we do some of our networks roles may require security clearance. Don’t worry, a member of the Early Careers Team will talk you through this.
