There is the opportunity to get involved in both environmental and architectural acoustics projects from day one.

Our work is varied and widespread supporting our clients on projects both locally and throughout the UK as required. We value innovation, while always seeking to provide commercial solutions to complex environmental issues.

About the team

The Acoustics team are a rapidly expanding part of BWB’s environmental service offering, with involvement at all stages in the planning cycle, from feasibility through to master planning and the discharge of planning conditions. We also provide strategic advice and asset management services, and offer clever solutions to some challenging acoustics issues. We are also growing our capability to better serve clients on architectural acoustics projects and building services design.

We are working on many different types of projects, including new road schemes, new settlements, high-rise city centre buildings, supermarkets, car dealerships, energy centres and airport work.

We aim to create a working environment that provides challenge, enjoyment and a real sense of satisfaction with a view to encouraging personal and professional development in all our staff.

About you

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident, self-motivated and willing to take the initiative, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Willingness to travel and a full driving license are essential to the role.

Ideally the successful candidate will be in the process of gaining an acoustics related qualification or equivalent.  Membership of the Institute of Acoustics is desirable, but not essential.
