About the Job 

Our Graduate Structural Engineers will provide hands on structural design using our software (Revit) to produce models and drawings to current BIM standards. You will be fully supported by our experienced team of Structural Engineers and technicians. Working on smaller projects that allow you to develop your practical skillset, progressing to working independently on larger and more challenging projects across all sectors and ranging from mixed-use high-rise developments to huge distribution warehouses.

Our Buildings and Built Environment Group has extensive experience and expertise in delivering cost effective, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable projects across many different sectors including education, high residential and student accommodation, commercial and healthcare. From designing new buildings through to adapting, refurbishing and maintaining existing building stock; our principle of applying intelligent design, flexibility and innovation remains constant. Advanced computer modelling techniques enable us to resolve complex issues quickly and efficiently.

About You 

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or in your final year studying towards this
  • Keen to share your ideas about how we can do things better 
  • Great communication skills developed through well-rounded life experience - academically, socially and in any previous work situations
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious to learn and progress 
  • A problem solver with strong communication skills 
  • Personal organisation skills, and the ability to work well within a team 
  • Right to Work and live in the UK
  • A knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Applicants with some work experience in the Engineering, either through work experience or as part of an academic course, are ideally sought
