This internship is an opportunity to experience projects in all areas of medical technology at all the different stages of product development.

The internship is a 12-month placement intended for students who have completed 2 or 3 years of their engineering programme.

Role description

The Medical Technology Division works on behalf of clients ranging from technical start-ups to large multinational companies across markets including Drug Delivery, Diagnostics, Surgical Products and Digital Health. Our clients are based all over the world and our projects often call for collaboration across our offices in the USA and Singapore.

There will be opportunities to take part in activities such as concept generation, rapid prototyping, and preparation of technical reports and other high-quality documentation. By working alongside our experienced project staff, you will learn how to perform analysis of engineering designs, how to design and develop test rigs, and how to design and execute experimental test programmes.

Requirements

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following.

  • Studying for a relevant Engineering degree
  • A solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and physical principles
  • A creative approach to problem solving and concept generation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
