    Canon are looking for a passionate Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst to support the EMEA GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) team in the development and implementation of the respective GRC frameworks; routinely monitoring, reviewing, analysing and preparing management information reports.

    • Support with critical analysis of risk & compliance information. Use own expertise and industry best practice to prepare risk & compliance analysis reports and feedback/guidance packs, providing recommendations to the business to drive improvements.
    • Support with development and implementation of GRC frameworks and processes by providing well informed recommendations based on analysis findings.
    • Alongside GRC Manager, develop and facilitate ad hoc risk workshops.
    • Be 1st point of contact Governance and Company Policy queries, monitor compliance to Company Policy on Policies Protocols and liaise with policy owners for feedback.
    • Support with GRC Secretariat duties, i.e. development of reporting information, arrangement of (Sub-) Committee meetings, preparation, and distribution of meeting materials (meeting slide pack & minutes).
    • Use expertise to identify opportunities for business GRC training and contribute to material development and training delivery.
    • Actively monitor and share relevant internal and external GRC related developments, emerging risks and compliance matters with key stakeholders to support GRC development and enhancement.
    • Be an active participant in supporting the EMEA GRC community and stakeholders, including know-how sharing and general employee awareness training.

    What we ask

    Personal specification e.g. Technical skills, knowledge, experience required

    • Experience of working in a Risk and/or Compliance function. 
    • Attention to detail – analytical skills (ability to pick out abnormalities or inconsistency in qualitative information). 
    • Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
    • SharePoint proficiency.
    • Confidence in liaising with stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
    • Experience of developing management information reports (with charts/graphs) and presentation slides beneficial but not essential.
    • IRM Certificate Level qualification beneficial but not essential.
    • Keen interest in Governance, Risk & Compliance beneficial.

    Further information

    In addition to a salary of between £38,760.00 - £49,020.00 you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%.
