The role
We are currently looking to recruit a Graduate Economic Regeneration Consultant to work on a range of large economic regeneration projects with the public sector, from town centres, to new housing.
You will gain experience working across the broad areas of research and evaluation concerning new investments and initiatives to establish the optimum route for our clients.

Our work involves making a case for change usually by writing convincing reports with clear recommendations based on your analysis via:
Research using a wide variety of official data sources and the internet
Sourcing, organising, analysing and making a case using study data
Undertaking financial analysis including cashflows
Carrying out study fieldwork including interviews (face-to-face and telephone), workshops and focus groups, and client consultations
In addition you will assist the Director of Economic Assets in winning new work including:
Preparing written proposals for tenders and or work with existing clients
Making presentations to prospective clients
What we’re looking for
Qualification to degree level in a related field e.g. economics, planning, housing, geography
Excellent written skills including knowledge of how to make a convincing argument that is clear and considered
Good analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from various data sources
Good verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate in one-to-one situations, group sessions and in public arenas
Excellent organisational skills including proven project and personal time management
Excellent IT skills including the use of Word, Excel etc
Highly motivated, with the ability to work on one’s own initiative or as part of a team
