We are currently seeking a Graduate Environmental Geotechnical Engineer who has recently graduated with a degree in a relevant subject.

You will be part of the Ground Engineering team contributing to many multidisciplinary projects across the country, work will include the preparation of desk-based studies, design and supervision of ground investigations, design of remediation schemes and verification.

We’re a friendly and professional team, always open to new perspectives and exploring new ways to collaborate. Get your career off to a great start by combining your academic knowledge with practical experience as a graduate structural engineer.

What you’ll be doing

  • assisting with ground investigation design and implementation.
  • geoenvironmental calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation as required in line with company and client requirements as well as national standards and codes of practice.
  • participating in the resolution of technical issues. 
  • complying with relevant Health and Safety regulations and company practice promoting a culture of safety within the team.
  • working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
  • providing technical input to projects and technical advice to project team members.
  • supporting the investigation, design, construction and post construction monitoring of geotechnical aspects of projects.

What we’re looking for

  • relevant Engineering degree (e.g. BEng, MEng)
  • ability to manage and deliver multiple packages of work to defined timescales
  • ability to coherently and persuasively communicate ideas through various means
