About the role

We are recruiting a Graduate Engineer to help support the delivery of our growing Performance Services – including our Collaborative Asset Performance Programme.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will be focused where you can best learn and your skills can be best utilised by our team. You should expect to work across data flow management, energy performance, and gained exposure to a varied and interesting client portfolio.

What you'll do

Carbon Intelligence delivers Performance and Risk Management services to predominantly FTSE 350 and large public sector clients across the UK. Our services are underpinned by our ADAPt data platform, which holds data for over 40,000 buildings.

Our graduate engineers support across the team, from supporting hardware implementation, to managing data flows from our Smart Building Gateways to providing technical support with energy efficiency programmes.

In order to prosper within this exciting organisation, the successful individual will demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, combined with a passion for combating sustainability business challenges. The person

If this sounds like a role that you would thrive in, here is what you need to have to be successful in your application;

  • An interest in sustainability and the environment
  • Ambition to continually develop your consultancy and technical skills
  • Strong analytical acumen
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or another Energy related discipline
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical services within the built environment
  • The ability to effectively communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders

Additional desirable expertise

  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks
  • Understanding of building energy efficiency
  • Understanding of BMS controls
  • Coding experience or understanding of the concepts involved
